SnowBoss SB1370W High Performance wheeled Snow Blower High performance snow blower, equipped with reliable winter engines. The SnowBoss range are efficient, convenient and economical machines. The special winter engines are equipped with a 220V electric starter. The engine jump starts immediately. The SnowBoss SB1370W uses a 71cm wide front auger with ice teeth to cut in to the snow an break it up whilst transferring the material to a centre position and a specially adapted 13hp single cylinder overhead valve engine is designed tooperate in low temperature conditions and runs on unleaded petrol. The SnowBoss SB1370W blower boasts a 7 speed transmission system with 5 forwards and 2 reverse positions which are fully controllable from the operators positionallowing an optimum speed what ever the conditions. 15” tyres with an aggressive snow pattern together with a locked axle drive ensure the maximum possible traction. The machine features an overall working width of 78cm for easy access to pathways and from the front of the auger housing to the tip of the handlebars is 140cm. The typical working weight of this machine is 120kg. The SnowBoss SB1370W is now covered by one years manufacturers warranty for domestic/consumer purposes and 90 days in professional applications.

Snow blowers can be single-stage or two-stage, sometimes known as twin-stage or double-stage.

Single-stage machines use one rotor (turbine) to gather the snow and eject it via a chute. Working widths are limited to the diameter of this rotor The two-stage machine uses a twin rotor system.

The first is an auger with special ice teeth which helps to break up the snow in to manageable chunks and transports it to the centre of the machine where a second rotor (turbine) then ejects the snow up the chute.
