SnowBoss SB762W High Performance wheeled Snow Blower

High performance snow blower, equipped with reliable winter engines. The SnowBoss range are efficient, convenient and economical machines. The special winter engines are equipped with a 220V electric starter. The engine jump starts immediately. The winter engine for the Snowboss snowblower is fitted with a cold start primer to aid starting in very cold conditions.The engine is similar to Honda but is made by Locine, an OHV design that runs well and is easy to start.

The SnowBoss SB762 is powerful two-stage snow blowers. The first stage uses a 62cm wide front auger with ice teeth to cut in to the snow and break it up whilst transferring the material to a centre position. A turbine is at the centre position. This is the second stage. The turbine ejects the snow vertically up an exit chute. The chute is fully adjustable 190° to direct the snow where you want it. In perfect conditions these machines can blow snow several metres. The front auger housing is adjustable for height on two skids. The specially adapted 7hp single cylinder overhead valve engine is designed to operate in low temperature conditions and runs on unleaded petrol. A single tank full of fuel should provide over hours operation. The powerful, easy starting engine not only operates the front auger and turbine but also provides the power for the comprehensive transmission system. The SnowBoss SB762W blower boasts a 6 speed transmission system with 4 forwards and 2 reverse positions which are fully controllable from the operators position allowing an optimum speed what ever the conditions. 13” tyres with an aggressive snow pattern together with a locked axle drive ensure the maximum possible traction. The machine features an overall working width of 70cm for easy access to pathways and from the front of the auger housing to the tip of the handlebars is 142cm. The typical working weight of this machine is 95kg.The “wrong type of snow” can affect the way the snow blower deals with the material. Larger volumes of cold, light, loose, powdery snow are just what the machines like. Refrozen, watery, sludge is more difficult and can be aided with the special clearing tool that is mounted conveniently on the machine. Snow blowers can be single-stage or two-stage, sometimes known as twin-stage or double-stage.

Single-stage machines use one rotor (turbine) to gather the snow and eject it via a chute. Working widths are limited to the diameter of this rotor The two-stage machine uses a twin rotor system.

The first is an auger with special ice teeth which helps to break up the snow in to manageable chunks and transports it to the centre of the machine where a second rotor (turbine) then ejects the snow up the chute.
