Rear eject riding lawn mowers are primarily used for collection on lawn and not for cutting long grass as the chute can easily block and the belt can slip on the engine pulley. Once the belt slips it can be waisted ( thinned down ) in one or more places. When this waisting occurs on the belt the belt is more liable to break when a heavy impact occurs. When a belt has been burned by the engine pulley the belt can create a vibration on the cutter deck where the belt tensioner is contantly going back and forth.

This belt DOES NOT fit 42 inch 107 cm side discharge riding tractors lawn mowers as they will use a v belt not a hexagonal belt
